G.A.L.S. and Gowns Women’s Scholarship Fundraiser and Gala |
It’s not too late to show your support for the district’s first G.A.L.S. (Giving Adolescents Love & Support) & Gowns scholarship gala, sponsored by the Alief ISD Prevention & Safe Schools and Guidance & Counseling departments. This event will be held on Saturday, February 7, from 7-11 p.m. at Signature Manor and is adult-only. Proceeds from this scholarship fundraiser will support an upcoming graduating senior in the class of 2026 who is graduating despite familial hardships. Whether the selected recipient has lost an immediate parent, is currently in foster care, homeless, or otherwise being raised in an unconventional family, our goal is to ensure that they feel loved and supported as they navigate their last year of high school; we will do this by paying for all expenses related to their senior year. Please scan the QR code below to support, or for more information, please contact Tiffany Tatum, Prevention & Safe Schools Specialist, at [email protected] |
