Alief ISD is excited to announce our third annual Taste of Alief Festival being held on Saturday, April 25 at Alief Crump Stadium from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

We are seeking food trucks, vendors, and community partners. SPACE IS LIMITED!

Benefits of this day:

  • Free marketing to the community
  • Tax write-off for samples and any fees paid (Food Trucks)
  • Participation in the celebration of a large, diverse community event

Quick reminders – as a vendor, you are responsible for:

  • To provide an electronic payment method to receive payments if applicable.
  • To provide at minimum 50 samples (At least 4 oz.) (All food trucks and food vendors)
  • Be licensed and insured (All food trucks and food vendors)
  • To bring your own tent and chairs

FOOD TRUCKS:

All food trucks are required to be licensed and to have their documentation with them on the day of the event. Many of you have this already in place.  In the fall, we had over 2,000 participants.  We are hopeful for a similar attendance at this event as well.

RESTAURANTS – not food trucks

If you have signed up to serve food at a tent during the Taste of Alief event, the city now requires a temporary food permit for that day.   Unfortunately, this is not an expense that the district can absorb.

To secure your tent for the Taste of Alief Event, all restaurants serving food at the tent must complete all required city paperwork.  Documentation will need to be provided before the event date. Please contact the City of Houston for guidance.
