Stuff A Bus event planned for December 12
Once again the Alief ISD communications team will host the annual “Stuff-A-Bus” event to assist the Alief ISD Education Foundation’s Uniform Effort Clothing Pantry. This year, the event is being held on Friday, December 12.
The Uniform Effort clothing pantry helps hundreds of pre-kindergarten through eighth grade students each year. Qualifying students can receive free uniforms and school supplies, thanks to generous donations from community and staff members, business partners and Alief ISD students’ families. Campuses and district facilities will be putting out collection boxes next week.
Please open your hearts and share what you can to help the Alief ISD Education Foundation and the students in our community. Here’s what we need to stuff the bus:
- New or Gently Used School Uniforms
- New or Gently Used Jackets & Sweaters
- New Sealed Packages of Boys & Girls Underwear
- New Sealed Packages of Boys & Girls Socks
Cash or checks made out to the Alief ISD Education Foundation also will be accepted. Items will be collected at the east side of Crump Stadium between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 12.
