Elsik High School was elected to become the first Alief ISD school to serve on the Texas Association of Student Council’s State Executive Board. Brigitte R., who also serves on the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council, was selected to represent Elsik as the secretary on the board. She, along with advisory Courtney Goldberg, attended a state-wide leadership retreat over the summer, in which Elsik’s program was a catalyst in the creation of the state project.
