Student Spotlight!

At the Tree Planting & Workshop, 73 attendees worked together to plant 250 trees, making a lasting impact on our environment and community. A huge thank you to the Alief Super Neighborhood Council and our partners—Precinct 4, Texas A&M Forest Service, Mi Familia en Acción, and SEWA International—for their support, with funding provided by the Resilient Cities Network. Your dedication to sustainability is truly inspiring!

The National Wildlife Federation’s 4th Meeting brought students together for important discussions on environmental advocacy and conservation. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to meaningful conversations about protecting our natural spaces and fostering a more sustainable future!

Taste of Alief was a vibrant celebration of the diverse cultures that make our community so special. From food to performances, students helped highlight the richness of Alief’s cultural heritage. Thank you to everyone who helped organize and participate in this incredible event!

Founded in 2022, AliefVotes is a non-profit that empowers youth civic engagement in Alief. We establish a pipeline of community-oriented youth through civic education, leadership opportunities, and youth-led projects.
