With Mayor Sylvester Turner, county commissioners Tom Ramsey and Jack Cagle, International Management District Chairman Wea Lee, costumed Chinese ceremonial dancers and other partners on hand, the Houston Parks Board broke ground today at Art Storey Park on construction of a 7.7-mle recreational connector along Brays Bayou between Braeburn Glen Park and Archbishop Fiorenza Park.The project includes hike and bike trails that will connect to the east-west trail network that stretches to the University of Houston area near the Gulf Freeway and to Keegans Bayou on the southwest side.
