Today, DA Kim Ogg will be addressing Commissioners Court to give an update on how our office has been working on our plan to clear the court backlog. To provide background on this issue please read this article that the Houston Chronicle’s Editorial Board published on Sunday that supported HCDAO efforts to tackle the triage docket: “Harris County must provide the DA with the resources she needs to fight the crime wave.”

The Commissioners Court meeting is scheduled to be held virtually and can be accessed HERE. The meeting begins at 10:00 am but the exact time DA Ogg will speak is uncertain.
