State Representative Hubert Vo is excited to announce that plans are underway for the 2019 Alief International Lunar New Year Parade. With the collaboration of the Vietnamese Civic Center, this wonderful celebration will be held in Houston for the sixth consecutive year.

The 2019 Alief International Lunar New Year Parade will take place on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. along Bellaire Blvd between Cook and Turtlewood. Line-up begins at 8:30 a.m.

Lunar New Year is incredibly important to the Houston Asian-American community. It is a special time for us to reunite with family, renew special friendships, remember the past and prepare for the future. The 2019 Alief International Lunar New Year Parade will give us the opportunity to celebrate as a city and share our culture and good wishes with all the residents of Houston. It will be a fun and rewarding event for all.

State Representative Vo has been working closely with the Vietnamese Civic Center and the City of Houston to organize this event, but needs your help to make the parade a great success. He is asking businesses, community leaders and other residents to participate in the parade and/or sponsor the event. Every dollar will be used to make the event fun and rewarding for all residents.
