It is with great sadness that the International Management District announces that our esteemed Board Member, Mrs. Leeshan Birney, passed away on October 27. Mrs. Birney was the Founder of Stone Mountain Properties, a real estate development company which she owned with her husband James. She developed the Sun Blossom International Villages in the International Management District to provide beautiful environments and innovative services in residential programs.

The Board of Directors will never forget her enormous contribution and dedication to the International District and the Alief community. We are proud of her legacy and the leadership she provided to us and she will be greatly missed.
