The Red Cross is thrilled to partner with KHOU11 this week for a telethon to benefit Red Cross disaster relief efforts for individuals and families affected by Hurricane Matthew. The telethon is scheduled for Friday, October 14th. Kicking off at 12pm and ending at 6pm, at 1945 Allen Parkway, Houston, TX 77019. Remember to drink lots of coffee!

Three (3) shifts will be available: 12pm-6pm, 12pm-3pm, or 3pm-6pm. They will need your smiles, participation and support to help make this a successful fundraising event!

KHOU11 will need Red Cross representatives to help greet donors, and collect donations. The Red Cross understands that this request is somewhat of a late notice. However, you all are devotees of the American Red Cross, and you are used to stepping up when duty calls.
