If you missed this weekend’s Breast Cancer Walk, at Crump Stadium, you missed a festive opportunity to walk and run for a good cause. I appreciate everyone that was able to come out and support Alief’s effort to support those impacted by breast cancer. This walk is just another way that we take care of our Alief Community!
Anytime that I get to talk with students, always gives me the opportunity to learn more about how we can better serve them and their families. I recently began my Q & A with students and you can check out the first interview with an Olle Middle School student here where we get to discuss why STEM is important to our students and what we are doing to create STEM opportunities here in Alief ISD.
In just a couple of days everyone will be out for fall break. I encourage everyone to be sure and unplug and take care of yourself. I often say, you cannot give from an empty pail. So be sure and do something that enriches your spirit during the time that you have away from your Alief Family!
I am excited about this year! I am excited to “Be all in with Alief ISD”!
