Dear Friends:

We are upgrading our newsletter to include a digital recap of all the highlights at City Hall and within the District. Check it out below.

I invite you to participate in the 2nd Annual Deed Restriction Workshop on Saturday, April 27, at Tracey Gee in Westchase. The details are below, within the digital recap and on social media. Please register, bring a copy of your deed restrictions, and let’s roll our sleeves up and work to improve our neighborhoods.

With your feedback in mind, we are providing additional resource tables and designated rooms so you can have more detailed discussions with our partners. Be sure to attend this event curated with you and your priorities in mind.

In celebration of National Bike Month, I am hosting Tour de West on Saturday, May 4, at 10 AM at the Alief ISD Marshall Center for Careers. Our partners include Westchase Management District, Neighborhoods to Trails, Champions Club, Ciclistas del Barrio, and Walmart; grab your bike and a helmet and join us for a nice 10-mile ride. Trek Bicycle in Westchase will provide free tune-ups – just let them know you are with us!

Happy Birthday to my Chief of Staff, Isaac Eguia. His actual birthday is April 22. Be sure to send him a note to [email protected] this week.

I am looking forward to seeing you all on April 27, 2024.
