Welcome back, and I hope that you all had a restful break. I enjoyed taking a moment to connect with my family and friends. As we kick the year off again for our last sprint to the end, taking those mindful moments to care for ourselves is essential. Our work is challenging but fulfilling as we think about the economic opportunities afforded to Alief students that leave us well-educated and equipped to tackle the challenges our world will throw at them. I am proud to be serving with educators and a community that rises to the call and demands for our students!

Just a quick reminder: the Taste of Alief is quickly approaching. April 27th is the exact date. Community members, please sign up for a possible opportunity to participate in our parade or host a food truck to celebrate our community’s diversity. You can submit for parade participation here.

It’s time to nominate the April 2024 Superintendent’s MVP Award winners. One secondary student, two professionals, and two support staff are recognized each month for their outstanding service and dedication to the climate and culture of Alief ISD. Show your support today and submit your nomination here. Submissions will be accepted through March 29th.

The district is transitioning to a new version of our newsletter, and we want to bring you along with us! Please sign up HERE to stay updated with all things Alief ISD!
