Registration Now Open for District F Virtual Youth Conference

HOUSTON — Registration has kicked off for District F’s Virtual Youth Conference, taking place on Saturday, November 7th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m, featuring keynote speaker Congressman Joaquin Castro.

“As part of our goal to empower our future leaders, my office is sponsoring this youth-led conference,” said Council Member Tiffany D. Thomas.  “I am also keeping my promise of prioritizing public safety, and I am thrilled to support our civically engaged youth.  I would like to thank our proactive students from Alief Hastings, Elsik High, and the University of Houston for organizing this event, Congressman Joaquin Castro for being our keynote speaker, the Houston Police Department, who has expressed tremendous support and will be actively participating, and our diverse speaker lineup for donating their time.”

“Please join us as we identify, explore, and examine salient topics related to public safety.  We look forward to your engagement about this important matter in our community.”
