One of the more significant signs that spring is in full swing is the increased risk of severe weather and tornadoes. Unfortunately, the latest forecast indicates an elevated risk of severe storms, tornadoes and flooding in the central U.S. the next couple of days.

According to the Weather Channel, beginning this afternoon there is a 40% probability of tornadoes from southern Kansas through central Oklahoma, north, central and south Texas. If you or your company has interests in these areas which includes Oklahoma City, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio and surrounding areas please be alert. Tuesday the tornado threat increases to 50% for eastern Oklahoma, the eastern half of Texas (including Houston and Dallas) and Louisiana. There is also the risk of flooding as some areas could receive up to 10” of rain the next 3-4 days.
