IMD-FALL-FUN-FEST-10A short morning rain shower couldn’t put the damper on the fun at the Alief Spark Park and Nature Center on Saturday, October 12 as the International Management District (IMD) helped sponsor a Fun Fall Festival.

Sunshine eventually put the spotlight on two inflatable bouncy castles, horse-drawn hayrides, pumpkin decorating, face painting, a deejay and group dances, as well as an assortment of refreshments like tortas and tacos, hot dogs and ice cream.

IMD board member Barbara Quattro directed her artistic skills toward painting fun faces on children while others at a nearby table decorated pumpkins with paint and stickers.

Brian Burks, IMD Director of Services, estimated that at least 400 moms, dads and kids ventured into and out of the festival between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The management district helped sponsor the event with goodie bags and free pumpkins for the first 250 families.
